UZIMA! Drum and Dance is based in South Bend, Indiana and performs throughout the immediate South Bend community (Michiana) as well as regionally.

How Much Does It Cost to Hire UZIMA! to Perform?

UZIMA! always welcomes performance requests! Pricing is determined by a number of different factors and is based on the details of each request. If you are interested in booking UZIMA! for a performance, please visit our Contact Us page to complete the Appearance Request Form.

Do You Offer Private Lessons?

UZIMA! does not offer private lessons, but does provide group African dance classes at locations within the community. Typically, classes are held in the Spring and the Fall in 8-week sessions at Dancenter, 427 Hickory, South Bend. How Can I Join UZIMA!?

Company membership is by invitation-only. UZIMA! periodically holds open auditions for dancers and will extend invitations to join based on evaluation during those open calls. UZIMA! may also extend an invitation to join after watching an individual during a class or workshop, so if you are interested in being a part of the Company, please take our classes offered during the year, participate in our workshops in the community and come to our open audition events!
